These beautiful, colorful lanterns have been a favorite of our customers for over 15 years. Inspired by traditional Japanese turning lanterns, they are made of wood and rice paper, and enhance the atmosphere of any nursery, child's room, bedroom or living space. The lantern inserts are handmade by local Seattle artists, who hand-cut and create the scenes from paper and long-lasting theater-gel. The 25 watt bulb inside the lantern creates a gentle updraft which continuously spins the colorful scenes, creating a relaxing and mesmerizing display. Additional inserts can be purchased to use interchangeably in the same lantern!
